Fixed

Fixed Cupping

Cups stay in place for a short time over loaded areas. Best when the body feels dense, heavy or held.

Slide

Sliding Cupping

Cups move slowly through oil along the back or legs. Best when recovery needs to feel closer to massage.

Recovery + Cupping

Dry cupping folded into the continuous massage, for active bodies carrying load. In your home across the Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches to Balgowlah. From $240, 60 to 90 minutes.

Cupping only lives inside the recovery massage. You never book it on its own.

/ The idea

Massage first, cupping within it

This is not cupping bolted onto a massage. The cups arrive inside the same continuous movement as the Signature Massage. My hands stay on you throughout, and the cups become part of the stroke rather than a separate procedure with its own clock.

Because cupping only lives inside the recovery massage, you never book it on its own. You reserve the hour, and the recovery work happens where your body asks for it.

Plainly, what it is

What dry cupping involves

Dry cupping uses silicone or plastic cups and a gentle negative pressure that lifts the skin rather than pressing into it. I move some cups slowly along the back and legs, and hold others in place for a short while over the areas that feel loaded.

Dry means there is no cutting and no bleeding. It is the cup, the skin and slow movement, folded into the massage. Most people find the pull unusual for a moment, then settling.

Who it is for

Built for active bodies

Recovery + Cupping is for the body that feels heavy or overworked. The training load that keeps stacking, the long rides, the tournament weeks where nothing quite lets go. I trained through fifteen years of competitive basketball and handball, semi-professional in both, so I know the difference between soreness that fades and tension that stays.

Cupping and massage together are a practice many athletes keep, not for a single session but for a rhythm. Kept regularly, the same hands learn where you hold it, and the work compounds instead of restarting each time. Kept monthly, this can be your held session in Le Cercle.

The marks, honestly

Before you decide, here is exactly what to expect on the skin afterwards.

What you see

Circular marks are normal

Cupping can leave round marks where the cups sat. They are a normal part of the work, not a bruise from pressure, and how much shows varies from body to body and week to week.

How long

They often fade within days

Temporary circular marks are common. They often fade within several days but may remain visible for longer. Some weeks you will see very little, other weeks more.

Afterwards

Wear what you like

You can dress however you please afterwards. If you would rather keep the marks out of sight for an event, tell me and I will place the cups accordingly.

Questions about Recovery + Cupping

Do the cups hurt?
The pull is a firm, drawing sensation rather than a sharp one. Because the cups sit inside the massage and I move at your pace, most people find it unusual for a moment and then comfortable. If anything ever feels like too much, I ease off straight away.
Can I train the next day?
That is your call and your feel, not a rule I set. Many active people carry on with their week as usual. Listen to how the body responds and give it the space it asks for.
Will the marks show in swimwear?
They can, depending on where the cups sit and how your skin responds. If you have swimming or an event coming up, tell me beforehand and I will place the cups where they stay out of sight.
