Terms of Service

What I offer

Maison Prestance offers bodywork, which means massage and assisted stretching, with dry cupping as an option within a massage, at the studio in St Leonards or at your place. This is not a medical service. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and a session does not replace care from a doctor or physiotherapist. The boundaries of my work are set out on the scope of practice page.

Booking

At the studio or at your place, you pick a time on the booking page and Farid confirms each request. For the membership or a question first, you message me. A pack is bought on a payment page run by Square, and each of its appointments is then requested on the booking page. A request is final once Farid confirms it, and until then it is not a confirmed appointment. The studio is inside French Studio at Suite 9, 56-62 Chandos Street, St Leonards NSW 2065.

Consent

Consent is ongoing throughout the session. You may ask me to adjust, pause or stop at any time, for any reason. I will explain and seek your specific agreement before dry cupping or any part of a session that calls for additional consent. Agreeing to these terms is not consent to any particular technique, and your choices during the session always come first.

Payment

Single appointments and the two entry offers are paid at the end of the appointment, on the spot, and nothing is paid when you book. Where a late cancellation or no-show fee applies under the booking and cancellation policy, it may be invoiced separately. After each payment you receive a receipt with the date, the service and the price. Packs and gift cards are paid online in advance, through Square.

Packs, membership and gift cards

A pack is 5 or 10 appointments of 60 minutes at the studio, for massage or for assisted stretching, paid in advance. It can be shared with friends and family or given as a gift, and it is valid for 6 months from the day of purchase. If I can no longer provide your appointments, I refund the unused ones at the price you paid for each.

The Assisted Stretch Membership is one 60-minute appointment a week, at the studio or at your place, paid at each appointment, with no minimum term and nothing to pay to stop or pause.

A gift card is bought online for an amount of your choice and used towards appointments. The details are on the booking and cancellation policy page.

Travel

Travel is included for home visits within the area on the areas map. Outside it, a travel supplement applies per visit, its amount agreed before I accept your request. At a hotel, if the hotel provides no parking, its cost is an extra, agreed the same way.

Cancellations and changes

Plans change, and there is a clear way to handle it. Please tell me as soon as you can. The notice windows and what applies to each are on the booking and cancellation policy page, which you can read before you book.

Conduct

Every session takes place within clear professional boundaries, with respect in both directions. No inappropriate behaviour is accepted, and any such conduct is reported to the police. I may pause or end a session if those boundaries are not respected or if continuing would be unsafe. Where a session is ended because of serious inappropriate or unsafe conduct, some or all of the agreed fee may remain payable, to the extent permitted by law. If I end the session for another reason, any fee is handled fairly in the circumstances.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
