Terms of Service

These are the terms that apply when you request a session with me. I have kept them short, because most of what matters between us is common sense written down.

What I offer

Maison Prestance offers bodywork, which means massage, assisted stretching and dry cupping, delivered in your home. This is not a medical service. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and a session does not replace care from a doctor or physiotherapist. The boundaries of my work are set out on the scope of practice page.

Booking

A booking starts as a request. It becomes an appointment only once I have replied to you personally and confirmed the time. Until that reply, nothing is reserved.

Consent

Consent is ongoing throughout the session. You may ask me to adjust, pause or stop at any time, for any reason. I will explain and seek your specific agreement before dry cupping or any part of a session that calls for additional consent. Agreeing to these terms is not consent to any particular technique, and your choices during the session always come first.

Payment

Completed sessions are paid for after the appointment, in person. Where a late cancellation or no-show fee applies under the booking and cancellation policy, it may be invoiced separately. Nothing is paid through this website.

Cancellations and changes

Plans change, and there is a clear way to handle it. The notice windows and what applies to each are on the booking and cancellation policy page, which you can read before your booking is confirmed.

Conduct

A session takes place within clear professional boundaries, with respect in both directions. I may pause or end a session if those boundaries are not respected or if continuing would be unsafe. Where a session is ended because of serious inappropriate or unsafe conduct, some or all of the agreed fee may remain payable, to the extent permitted by law. If I end the session for another reason, any fee is handled fairly in the circumstances.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, message me on WhatsApp and I will answer plainly.
