Booking and Cancellation Policy
I work alone, and each appointment holds a part of my day for you. This page says plainly how a booking is confirmed, how payment works and what applies when plans change.
How a booking is confirmed
At the studio or at your place, you pick a time on the booking page and Farid confirms each request. On the booking page, choose Maison Prestance for the studio or My location for your place. Nothing is paid when you book. A request is final once Farid confirms it, and until then it is not a confirmed appointment. For the membership, or if you send a question first, you message me and your appointment is confirmed once I have replied to you personally. A pack is bought on a payment page run by Square; each appointment of the pack is then booked like any other, on the booking page, and I confirm each request. If you are new to me, I send a confirmation message the day before. This policy is available to you before you book, so you always know the conditions first.
If you need to change or cancel
Please tell me as soon as you can. For a single appointment at the standard price, these notice windows apply.
The session fee is the listed price of the single appointment you booked, as shown when you booked it. Late cancellation fees may be invoiced. If the appointment is less than 24 hours away, the booking page no longer lets you cancel or move it online: message me and I handle it with you. Genuine emergencies are different, and I review them personally, case by case.
For packs, the membership and the two entry offers, no late cancellation fee is set. Please tell me as soon as you can, so the time can be offered to someone else. An appointment you cancel is never taken from a pack.
Payment
Single appointments, and both entry offers, are paid at the end of the appointment, on the spot. Where a late cancellation or no-show fee applies to a single appointment, it may be invoiced separately, based on the session fee of the appointment you booked. After each payment you receive a receipt that shows the date, the service and the price. For a single appointment or a membership, nothing is charged in advance and nothing is charged automatically. If you like, you can keep a card on file with Square so that paying on the day takes a few seconds.
Packs and gift cards are paid in advance, online. A pack is bought on a payment page run by Square, and gift cards are bought on the gift card page. Both are processed by Square.
Packs
A pack is 5 or 10 appointments of 60 minutes, massage or assisted stretching, at the studio, paid in advance. Friends and family can share it, and it can be given as a gift. Massage and stretching packs are not interchangeable. One appointment taken is one appointment deducted, and I keep the count. A pack is valid for 6 months from the day of purchase. The end date is on the pack confirmation, which can be passed on as it stands to the person who receives the pack. Nothing is taken out of the credit after you buy. If you cancel an appointment, it is not deducted. If I can no longer provide your appointments, I refund the unused ones at the price you paid for each. Nothing here excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Gift cards
A gift card is bought on the gift card page, for an amount of your choice, and used towards appointments in full or across several visits. It is not redeemable for cash. Nothing here excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Assisted Stretch Membership
One 60-minute appointment a week, at the studio or at your place, at the same day and time. At your place, travel is included within the area on the areas map. You pay at each appointment, on the day. You can keep a card on file with Square if you like; Farid charges it only after an appointment you have received, never in advance and never automatically. There is no minimum term and no joining fee, and nothing to pay to stop or pause. I ask for a week's notice as a courtesy, and I give you a week's notice too if I need to stop or change your time. If I change the price, I tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can stop before then. Your time is held for you. If I need to move it, I offer the nearest time, and an appointment I cancel is never charged.
The two entry offers
First massage: a 60-minute appointment for someone who has never had a massage with me, at the studio or at your place. Two weeks of mobility: two 60-minute appointments over 14 days, for someone who has not done this offer or had assisted stretching with me. The two weeks are paid in full at the first appointment, and the second appointment is for the following week. If I cannot offer a second time within the 14 days, the window is extended. At your place, the two weeks are for the area of the travel map; elsewhere, they are at the studio. Each offer is once per person, and you can take both. There is no obligation to buy a pack or join the membership afterwards.
Travel
Home visits within the area on the areas map have travel included. Outside it, a travel supplement applies per visit, its amount agreed before I accept your request. At a hotel, if the hotel provides no parking, its cost is an extra, agreed the same way.
A word on why
This policy is not about penalties. When a single appointment is cancelled at the last moment, that hour cannot be offered to someone else. Clear notice keeps things fair for you, for me, and for the person who could have taken that time.
Effective date: 21 October 2026.
