Mobile massage in Sydney: platforms, agencies or one practitioner, what changes
Written by Farid, who runs Maison Prestance and is one of the five names below. This is not an independent ranking. It is the comparison I would want if I were choosing, with the prices each company publishes and the date I read them.
The short answer, by what you need
Someone tonight, anywhere in Sydney: a platform. Blys and Zenin run rosters of therapists and cover most of the city into the evening.
The same person each time, who remembers your back: a single practitioner. Platforms let you ask for a favourite; a solo practice is that person by definition.
A hotel room in the city: all three models do it. The difference is what the total includes, and who tells you the total before you book.
A regular session, weekly or monthly: a practitioner with a membership, or an agency with a small team you can request.
Three models, explained without the marketing
Platform. You book on an app, the job goes to the therapists nearby, one accepts. Wide availability, many modalities, a published base price with fees and surcharges on top. You can request a therapist you liked; availability is not guaranteed.
Agency. A company with its own therapists, usually a smaller team, often stronger on hotels and corporate work. Prices are quoted by the company, and the same therapist can usually be requested.
One practitioner. One person, one table, one phone. Fewer slots, no roster, and the same hands every time. The price carries the travel, the preparation and the continuity, so it sits higher.
Published prices, sixty minutes, read on 8 September 2026
These are the prices each company publishes on its own site on that date, not quotes obtained for the same address and hour. Fees change; where a figure could not be confirmed, it says so.

Two scenarios, the same way
A Wednesday evening at home in Neutral Bay. On a platform, the published base plus the processing fee, then whatever the evening adds. With an agency, the evening rate. With me, $290 for sixty minutes and nothing added: the travel is in the price on this side of the harbour.
A hotel room in the city, Saturday morning. On a platform, base plus fee plus the hotel line plus parking if the hotel has none. With an agency, the hotel rate, parking allowance included up to a point. With me, one total sent before you accept, parking included, and the same person if you come back next month. I do not publish a surcharge table because the total depends on the hotel; I would rather tell you the number than make you add lines.
Why a single practitioner costs more
Nothing mysterious. One hour with me is closer to two hours of my day: loading the table, driving, setting up, the session, packing, driving back. A platform spreads that across a roster and a volume of bookings. I do not, and I keep the mornings free from five so that the people who train early, or land early, get the hour they want. The price also buys continuity: notes, a starting point, a body I already know.
When the platform is the better choice
When you need someone in the next two hours. When you are outside the areas I cover. When you want a modality I do not offer, such as Thai massage or a treatment with several therapists at once. When the price difference matters more than who turns up. There is no wrong answer here, only the one that fits the evening.
Questions to ask anyone before you open the door
Who exactly is coming, and is there a photo of that person. Is the table theirs, with fresh linen for each client. What is the total, with parking and fees, in writing before you confirm. What happens if you want to stop or change the pressure. How you are covered during the session: with a sheet or towel, at all times. Which qualification they hold and whether they are insured. A serious practitioner or company answers all of these without hesitation. If anyone dodges the last two, close the door.
